SIGCHI Finland awarded me with a honourable mention at their autumn seminar in Helsinki. The mention was given for my MA Thesis that took part in MA Thesis competition arranged by SIGCHI every year. Award in Shanghai
My MA thesis about designing web sites for Deaf people was awarded 3rd prize in an exhibition of 400 student works from the over 90 Cumulus member institutions around the world.
The exhibition was organised in Shanghai as part of the 20th Anniversary conference of the Cumulus Association. The prizes for the best works were judged by the Cumulus Board. A total of over 300 works were submitted to a variety of set themes. My Masters thesis projects was awarded 3rd prize under the theme of ‘Sustainability and Social Innovation’. The project is about designing a deaf culture specific web site.
